On 10th May an Afternoon Tea was held in Farnham for Malawi Schools Trust.
50 people came together to celebrate the progress of the Charity and to help with the Charity latest fund raising campaign.
Peter Everett (Chair) commented, e had a fantastic turnout from the community including Mr Brodie Mauluka, the Mayor of Farnham and Mr Ben McCarey, Headmaster of Frensham Heights.
Funds were raised for 60 bikes for the use of pupils at Mankhaka and Mandanjala School. In addition we received an unexpected and generous donation from another new donor.

Buffalo Bike: Bikes are provided by World Bicycle Relief in a 50:50 partnership, where we split the cost.
We expect to deliver the new bikes to the Schools for the beginning of the new term in September. This is the second tranche of bikes we are providing the schools. Each school will soon have 55 bikes for the use of pupils who live over 7 kms away from School. This has a massive impact on attendance and motivation of Pupils throughout the year.
Thankyou to everyone who joined us on the day and donated so generously.
