The finished Girls hostel, May 2023

In August of 2022 we committed to our largest and most ambitious project yet.

Having provided the admin block and then housing for teachers, the school, and the community was growing, with pupil numbers increasing. The next step was a hostel for girls. These hostels provide a safe and consistent environment for girls who otherwise might live too far away, or be kept out of school for domestic work.

The project would supply a building and then fit it out with solar power and beds, and be able to accommodate about 40 girls. During the summer of 2023, Frensham Heights School visited and were able to help build a small outside kitchen.
